Rangjung Yeshe Shenpen is a volunteer based and non-profit organization founded and directed by Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, which is dedicated to helping the poor and disadvantaged in Nepal through technical and financial support.

Medicine & Compassion
The Medicine and Compassion Project seeks to balance modern medicine’s emphasis on technical and scientific achievement with a renewed focus on the needs of the patient.  Medicine and Compassion: A Tibetan Lama’s Guidance for Caregivers, by Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche with David R. Shlim, M.D., represents a Tibetan lama’s advice to harried caregivers.

Vajra Varahi Medical Center
The construction of a medical clinic will be started this year under the guidance of Phakchok Rinpoche. The clinic will be situated in Chapagaon, a village southeast of the Kathmandu Valley, adjacent to the Bajra Barahi Monastery, a part of Ka Nying Shedrup Ling Monastery. The Clinic will provide services to the surrounding villages and people in the area. Some of the projected services include Acupuncture, Tibetan and Chinese medicine, and Allopathic medicine.
