Bodh Gaya Pilgrimage
Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche just returned from a wonderful pilgrimage to Bodh Gaya, Sarnath and Varanasi. In Bodh Gaya he spent five days teaching the students of Antioch University, USA. It was very touching to see so many of them taking refuge and Bodhisattva vows at the end of the seminar under the Bodhi Tree in Bodhgaya.
Rinpoche was joined by several of his students from the Sangha in Nepal. They told us that his teachings were amazing and inspiring.
Besides Bodhgaya itself, they also visited pilgrimage sites, such as Sarnath, Rajgir, Nalanda and others.
Upon his return to Boudha, Rinpoche said with great enthusiasm, “Everything went really well!”
