Several years ago Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche and his sangha in Tibet began the monumental work of restoring the ruined Drong monastery to its former glory.  In a touching and heartwarming manner, Rinpoche and the local community joined aspirations, resources and labor to rebuild the monastery so that it once again could become a vibrant center for the Buddhist teachings.
