Education and Housing of Young Monks
"future residents"
Every month the sangha at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery continuous to grow. To ensure that the many young monks receive the best possible education and housing the monastery has recently begun construction of a new large building to meet these needs.
 
This new building will provide the young monks with a beautiful, earthquake proof home complete with spacious and bright classrooms, and a dining hall for 300 monks. Construction is already well underway and the building is expected to be complete towards the end of 2008.
To date, approximately 50% of the total cost of US$ 570,000 has been raised and the monastery is now welcoming additional support from the Sangha to complete this project.
